Features of LG X3 SmartPhone
LG X3 packs an impressive look and style that seems to be directly lifted from the LG Prada phone. The Optimus series phone is thin and light and comes in an 8.9mm casing. The phone sports the usual capacitive buttons and has a large screen.

The LG X3 sports a large 4.7 inch IPS LCD capacitive multi touch display with a native resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, 16 million color support and an extremely high pixel density of 312 ppi. The display is also packed with light and proximity sensors.
The Optimus series phone is powered by a quad core 1500 MHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and also has an unspecified graphics processor embedded in it.
The LG Optimus 4X HD will undoubtedly run on Android OS. However, what is confusing every one currently is whether it will have the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS or the Gingerbread OS.

It was earlier rumored that the phone will run on Android ICS, but the few images of LG X3 doing the rounds on the web distinctly shows a menu button in the capacitive navigation space, and that also makes us think that the phone might be preloaded with Android 2.3 OS.
Memory & Storage
The smartphone has a system memory of 1024 MB (1 GB) and a built in storage of 16GB with option for further expansion (up to 32 GB) using the microSD/microSDHC slot option.
Other interesting functionalities one might see in the new LG X3 include – a 8 MP rear facing camera (3264 x 2448 pixels) with LED flash, Back illuminated sensor, geo tagging and auto focus, a front facing 1.3 MP camera, 1920 x 1080 HD video recording, 21Mbps HSPA+(4G), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, WiFi Direct, DLNA, WiFi hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, EDR, music player, youtube player, browser with HTML and Flash support, USB 2.0, microUSB connector, HDMI output via microUSB, Tethering, MHL, OTA and Computer Sync, polyphonic ring tones, accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, GSM (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz), UMTS (900 and 2100 MHz), EDGE, GPRS, A-GPS positioning, loud speaker, a 3.5 mm jack, Stereo FM radio with RDS etc.
