Logitech G35 Surround Sound Headset reviews

logitech-g35What does a gamer need while playing games of aerial combat or ground combat? The sounds of dropping bombs in combat games and the sounds of swooshing cars in racing games prove to be the ultimate thrilling experience for the gamer. But for this sound experience, you need a model of good sounding surround sound speakers. But the ideas of keeping heavy speakers around all the time seems a bit awkward as it requires finding sufficient space for the speaker set and the messy wires to connect all of them.

Another important issue is the sounds from those speakers disturb people around you. What can be the solution for these problems? The solution is Logitech’s G35 Surround Sound Headset. For the gamer, this headset is like an end to all the troubles discussed before. Logitech asserts a 7.1 audio experience with this set. The headset makes use of the Dolby software in order to produce the surround sound experience.

As the features, the headset is connected through a USB cable that is about three meters in length. The earpieces are tight and wearing the set might prove to be a little uncomfortable at first, but becomes comfortable after a few days of usage.

The G35 set is pretty effective in blocking out external noise. You will find a microphone attached to the left earpiece. The best part about the mic is that once it is put in an upright position, it mutes automatically. The set gives you the option of turning the Dolby surround-sound off or on depending on your needs.

It is true to some extend that the performance of this 7.1 headset is no where near that given by a set of surround sound speakers, but the performance is surely worth the shot. The G35 is capable of producing excellent audio and impressive sounds. The bass delivered by the set is very outstanding and the performance is greatly enhanced once you turn the Dolby switch on. The G35 Surround Sound Headset is available at a price of £79. It is a gadget worth going for.
