Logitech unveils Universal Harmony 700 remote

However the problem comes up when we aren’t able to make out which remote is to be used for which device. But now, Logitech has brought in a solution, called universal Logitech Harmony 700, which will get you rid of this kind of difficulties.

The Universal Harmony 700 remote just comes featured with a single button control and is built in with a color screen. Besides, the remote gets its from rechargeable batteries and makes life comparatively more easier. You don’t have to run through a knotty series of button presses. Just after completing an online setup, you can do whatever you want like, ‘watch a DVD’. Its color LCD screen helps you access to all the entertainment options, like while watching television, you are free to see icons for the favorite channels.

Plus, its rechargeable AA batteries last for many weeks on one time charge. The batteries can easily be charged by just plugging into the power adaptor.

Sam Feng, product marketing director of Logitech’s Streaming Media business unit, was quoted to have said that Internet and digital music have changed our style of discovering, sharing and listing to the music. Now, millions music are downloaded via Internet radio, stations, iTunes and music services. Company’s latest Logitech Squeezebox Wi-Fi music players boast of bringing it all in one. Enjoy music from around the globe with just easy plugging.

As the reviews, the device has a quite convenient online setup. Just download software and enter the name of the component and its model number. The rest is done by the remote from Betamax to Blu-Ray. It can control all IR home- electronic devices.

The Harmony 700 comes with the price tag of around $149.99 (approx Rs. 7278) and is slated to be shipped in the US and Europe from this month.
