Netherlands-based Looqs has already come up with a range of devices, which subsume a media storage device, the MeeBox NAS and MeeBox Router, which integrates a wireless access point. However, the company has now announced a digital photo frame, which is a perfect gift for the imminent Christmas holiday. Dubbed as MeeFrame, the WiFi-enabled digital photo frame comes built-in with an 8-inch 800 x 600 touchscreen display that lets users view photos hoarded on SD/MMC-card, a USB drive and even in the 1GB internal memory.
Besides, the IEEE 802.11b/g internet connectivity also helps this frame to display photos posted to user accounts on Picasa, Flickr or MeeFrame.com. Using MeeFrame.com, users can also edit, store, organize and send photos to other MeeFrames.
Pieter Havermans, product manager, Looqs, said that now when our all images have been digitalized, they are hoarded on our PCs and we need not do anything with them. The all new MeeFrame helps us recall the past photo experience. Besides, few superb interactive tools have also been added to make it more fun.
Apart from allowing users to enjoy their favorite songs, the frame is also included with a digital music player, Shoutcast internet radio stations and reader for real-time news. Plus, the device is additionally featured with a USB 2.0 Host port, stereo 2W speakers, 3.5mm headset jack and a miniUSB port.

The device presently supports 8 languages, such as; Dutch, German, English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish and Greek.
So far, there is no word as to the pricing of this device, but Looqs expects to showcase it at the CES in January 2010. So, if you want to have an amazing photo experience, then the latest WiFi-enabled MeeFrame digital photo frame is the perfect device for you on this Christmas. The device is not only tech-savvy but also beautiful enough to gift some one during this holiday season.
