After a launch of Google Android platform phone, Microsoft is now back with the launch of its new Windows Mobile 6.5 phone at the CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment event in San Diego. The Redmond-based giant exploited the event to launch 30 types of Windows phones with various designs. All these phones are expected to be made available in over 20 countries by the end of 2009.
As the reviews, the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 phone comes packed with all kinds of manageability and security features to attract business class. Featured with new version of Internet explorer (IE), the Windows Mobile 6.5 phone allows users to access all new and different sorts of online multimedia content. In the Windows Mobile 6.5 phone, users are also free to enjoy Desktop IE experience.
Through enhanced Exchange Server synchronization and Outlook Mobile, users are able to manage multiple accounts straight from their devices. And the augmented version of Mobile Office allows users to view and edit their Office documents like you do in your BlackBerry.
In addition, the free My Phone service also allows you to synchronize your valuable data straight from your phone to a web portal for safe keeping and sharing. Besides, there also comes the addition of Windows Live feature from the company, which helps you to share your photos to all major social networking sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and Flickr. Besides, some other interesting features are: Microsoft Office suite Windows Live Media Manager, Windows Media Player
In order to reach millions of people worldwide, Microsoft is launching its device in 20 countries of North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. Microsoft’ Windows 6.5 Mobile is to be made available for HTC Pure and HTC in North American market.
Samsung Omnia II will be introduced in the market of Latin American. HTC HD2, HTC Touch2, Samsung Omnia LITE and LG GM750 will be shipped in European market. And the ZTE X60, Garmin-Asus nüvifone M20, HTC Touch Diamond2, LG GM550, etc., are to be made available in the Asian market.
