Lenovo ThinkPad w700ds
Nowadays, thinner and compact notebooks are appealing to the users. But the Lenovo ThinkPad w700ds is trying to break the trend with its size. The notebook will definitely appeal to graphics professionals as well as the photographers. The notebook sports large 17-inch main display along with a 10-inch secondary display which slides out of the machine. With price tag of $3700, the w700ds offers Inter Core 2 Extreme quad-core CPU and 960 GB of hard disk which can be upgraded.

Dell Adamo
Dell has entered the premium notebook segment with its Adamo notebook. The notebook is designed in a metal case which is available in two colors: Pearl- light metallic gray and Onyx- black color. The notebook sports 13.3-inch display and will hit the market in during the first half of 2009.

Asus Bamboo Series (11-inch)
The Bamboo Series not books are not new to the market but the Asus has added the green theme to its Bamboo notebooks. The notebook sports an 11.1-inch LED backlit display and is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo CPU. The notebooks boasts of being environment friendly as its case is made of bamboo.

Asus S121
This 12-inch notebook is powered by 1.33 GHz Atom processor and is the larger version of the S101 netbook which sports 10-inch display. The main attraction of the notebook is its 512GB SSD and low price of $1650.

Dell Studio XPS
The Dell Studio XPS range of notebooks features 13 and 16 inches screen. The 16-inch notebooks offers native 1920-by-1080 whereas the 13-inch notebooks features hybrid-SLI option which allows the notebook to use integrated motherboard graphics card as well as discrete GPU, simultaneously. Both versions sport backlit keyboards along with WiMax and GPS.

Asus Eee PC T91
Asus has added a touch-screen notebook to its line up of Eee PC notebooks. The T91 is powered by 1.33 GHz Intel Atom CPU and sports 8.9-inch touch screen. The notebook also works as tablet PC as its screen is capable of swiveling. The $500 notebook will hit the markets in March.
