Motorola preps up its MOTO VE66 – new 5 megapixel slider

Motorola has finally made its MOTO VE66 officially official. The handset is touted to be Motorola’s first feature-packed phone in quite a long time, built-in with a 5-mega-pixel camera, a GPS for navigation, incorporated Wi-Fi, plus a 2.2-inch TFT LCD screen in a 15.2 mm thin body.
The phone also comes equipped with technologies such as CrystalTalk audio, FastScroll for one-touch navigation and of course, mobile-Linux allowing a mobile development. In addition, the MOTO VE66 also comes with the feature of USB 2.0 for high-speed connections and a stereo Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, a built-in MP3 player, FM radio with RDS, as well as Windows Media Player 11. The cell phone also backs up quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks.
Al it;s review, apart from that the latest MOTO VE66 is also Motorola’s first slider with WebUI app environment that allows Web 2.0 and widgets apps via Motorola’s WebUI APIs. On the whole the MOTO VE66 is one of Motorola’s best-built-in handsets. Plus it has got the looks to follow the best-of-the-breed features, for anyone who would have an interest.
The slider is likely to be shipped in during Q4 2008 in Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and Middle East. And with regard to its price there is no more info available so far, so watch out for it.
