Mr I Spy Digital Camera Binoculars Reviews

spy-digital-camera-binoculaThis is not the first time that you are coming across a set binocular that is capable of taking digital photographs too. But, Mr I Spy Digital Camera Binoculars, introduced by Chilli Technology, is one of the cheapest among them. Mr I Spy Digital Camera Binoculars features a set of binoculars equipped with a digital camera. As for serious or professional photographers this is of not that much use. But, for casual photographers, Mr I Spy Digital Camera Binoculars is an amazing piece of device that is light, durable and easy to use.

The Mr I Spy Digital Camera Binoculars is featured with a digital camera of 1.3 Megapixel and is powered by two AAA batteries. It also has an integrated memory of 16 MB, which is capable of storing 40-50 images in HI mode and 100-150 in LO mode. The amazing part of it is that, the Mr I Spy Digital Camera Binoculars can not only take images but also is capable of taking videos too. But the only problem with the videos is that they are without sound. The picture resolution of the camera in HI mode is 1280 x 1024 pixels and for that in LO mode it is 640 x 480 pixels. Some of the additional features of the device include a display of three digit 888+ICON monochrome LDC, USB 1.1 interface, lens (F2.8, f=28mm) and focus range of 10m-infinity. The device has auto power off facility after 30 seconds without any operation or manual power on and off.

The device comes packed with all the necessary peripherals such as a USB cable, a hand strap and Ulead software. It is featured with simple plug-and-play option to download the images and then can be transferred to your PC easily. Weighing approximately 350 grams without batteries, the Mr I Spy Digital Camera Binoculars is compatible with PC and Mac. At an affordable price of just £29.99, Mr I Spy Digital Camera Binoculars is an outstanding source of fun and creativity as well.

I received these Binoculars as a present.

Unfortunately the box contained only the binoculars - no instructions indicating the functions of the buttons or how to save photographs - nor ANY software.

I duly emailed the 'Mr I Spy ' company with my concerns - but have had no reply.

Consequently I have been somewhat disappointed with this kit.
