MSI is in scene again. Now the leading manufacturer has come up with its X-Slim X620 notebook, which, the company says, is driven by Intel Core 2 Duo processor and runs on
Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium OS
Besides, the all new laptop also has at its core a GS45 + ICH9M-SFF chipset, and is built in with DDR3 1066/800MHz memory together with a 2.5” 250/320/500GB SATA HDD and two So-DIMM slots. As to the connectivity options of the notebook are concerned, it proffers Bluetooth 2.1 and 802.11b/g/n. Additionally, the device also comes packed with a multi-point touchpad, Chiclet keyboard and Touchpad Lock
The X620 is also highlighted with a 15.6” HD 16:9 LCD, which boasts of a resolution of around 1366 x 768p. A 1.3mp innate webcam is also available with the device, while the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 graphics through 1GB VRAM helps power its visuals. In addition, the two in-built speakers present support for its audio system. The device also boasts of featuring 2-in-1 card reader, ports for HDMI, a DVD Super-Multi optical drive, D-Sub, eSATA, USB 2.0, headphone out, mic-in, Kensington lock and the RJ-45 as well. .
The integrated EasyViewer software makes use of 3D display mode that offers users the options of zoom-out, zoom-in, auto-playback or full screen for enjoy viewing images. In addition, the owners are also provided with some functions of HDII image adjustment as well as four image editing options. The notebook also comes with the features of Easy Face, 3D Boost technology, SRS premium Sound, WebCam companion, ECO support and a lot more.
The 39.2cm x 25.5cm x 3.63cm laptop gets power from an 8-cell battery and at merely 2.4kg, it tips the scale. For the time being, MSI has not divulged about when the device will be made available in market and what would be its pricing, but looking at the gung-ho competition in the market today, it seems the device soon be priced and unveiled.
