MSI has gone green by rolling out its two latest energy saving graphics cards- N9800GT-MD512 and N9800GT-MD1G. These graphics cards have been crafted to cater the needs of consumer who look forward to both, energy-conservation and performance.
These cards come integrated with NVIDIA’s state-of-the-art GeForce 9800GT GPU. This processor makes use of an augmented power control technology, which is capable of decreasing the consumption power by about 25%. According to MSI, this graphic card has been built-in with its Hi-c CAP that claims to give power to the GPU. A tantalum solid capacitor, the Hi-c CAP makes use of an expensive and rare tantalum material in its core. Being a stable metal, the tantalum is also capable of minimizing the possibility of power leakage.
The N9800GT series comes included with the newest Solid State Choke (SSC). This SSC is also capable of minimizing the high frequency buzz, mostly brought about because of conventional chokes. This augmented SSC can handle 30% higher electric currents. This capability proves to be highly helpful when there is matter of maintaining stability while overclocking.
The N9800GT-MD512 and N9800GT-MD1G also boast of having total control over the power supply. These cards don’t ask for an additional 6-pin cord to power it. This feature is capable of saving electricity and guarantees that these cards are highly helpful to be used.
These graphic cards come incorporated with D-Sub ports and HDMI, DVI, which the users can use to hook up to LCD TV. This guarantees delivery of hi-def visual and audio content through the LCD TV.
As to the availability and pricing details of the product, there is no mention up till now, but as and when it comes we will let you know.
