NEC, leading worldwide in Internet, broadband network as well as enterprise business solutions, has lately announced the unveiling of their new Messenger watch phone, which is dubbed as M155. Boasting of the Messenger watch phone, the company claims that the ultimate messenger device is perfectly suited to be utilized in hospitality environments & professional healthcare.
As an instance in hospitals, nurses & doctors can not only use the device to make contact with each other via messages, but they are also allowed to give immediate diagnosis for patients. Apart from that, the device also comes built-in with all facets, which are found in healthcare and hospital environment.
Additionally, the device also boasts of consisting of a speaker phone, alarm clock, a wire-less messaging device, a three line display. As the features, the device is also touted to be comfy enough to be worn easily on the wrist or as necklace.
Can this watch phone be compared to the LG watch phone? I would say a big No. Look at its design; it gives the impression of being uglier than the LG watch phone. Though it can double as a wireless messaging device (most likely SMS), a speaker phone, an alarm clock, and brags of a giant three-line display, but who would like to wear it, it’s cool that the watch phone is designed taking into consideration the doctors or nurses or the phone would have vanished moment after its launch. Likely to be sold in large quantities for use in hospital, good otherwise who would mind to have ugliness in his/her hand.
So, as a final note, I would say, “well-said, but hell said!”
At present, there is no info as to its pricing and availability details, but as and when it comes, I will let you know, but does that really matter?
