The high definition media players have been flooding the market of late. KWorld has launched a new media player in this HD segments, called as M120. This is a full hi-def HDMI media player whose design has become the talk of the town within a short span of time.
The prettily-designed media player will complement your favorite HDTV.
Like most other hi-def media players in the market, KWorld’s M120 will also play almost any of the common video formats out there. This list includes M2TS, TS/TP, VOB, AVI, WMV, MOV, MPEG, MP4 and MKV with support up to 1080p resolution. Plus, the media player too works as a music player and a photo player. It gives support to the following audio formats: DTS, WMA, AC3, WAV, MP3, OGG, AAC, FLAC and APE.
As such we can see that the M120 will be able to play almost any media thrown at it. For photos, the M120 supports JPG, BMP, GIF and TIFF formats. One great advantage that this media player has over others is that it can be used to play videos that have been recorded from television through other KWorld devices having recording capabilities like TV Tuners.
The M120 media player has a plethora of connectivity options. The connectivity ports found in the M120 are the basic VGA, the latest HDMI and YPbPr as well as AV Outputs. All these ports help the M120 to connect to virtually any HDTV or TV (including some older models). Another great advantage that the M120 has over other media players is the integration of a memory card reader which can be used to assess and play files from memory cards. SD, MMC and SDHC are the required card types needed to play media on the M120.
Plus, playing media such as pictures & music from memory cards is a fast and simple procedure. Moreover, the M120 will support many subtitle formats which will, in fact, come in handy while watching foreign language movies. The following subtitle formats are recognized by the media player – Idx, Sub, Srt, Ssa, Ass and Smi.
Even though KWorld has not officially announced the price of the M120, they do say that this all new media player will hit the selves at the very outset of 2011. So, just wait and watch!
