The arrival of Nikon D5000 DSLR

As per looks and performance is concerned, the Nikon’s latest D5000 DSLR camera is sure to blow away the rest of its class. The camera is in all packed with loaded with a number of hi-tech features, yet simple to operate and backed by Nikon’s high end technology. This camera is made to fit all class – those who are about to start of with the DSLR and for the ones who are experienced in the game and want an upgrade or purchase a DSLR.

The most common features of the Nikon D5000 DSLR include a CMOS sensor of 12.3 effective Megapixel, Nikon’s own EXPEED Image Processing System, compatible to a wide range of NIKKOR lenses, brilliant color output and smoother tonal gradation. Moreover, the camera is also equipped with versatile vari-angle LCD display, which can be further rotated or tilted according to your needs. This however, helps you to increase the type of angles in your shots.

The monitor measures 2.7 inches diagonally and is comes with a resolution of 230K pixel. Some of the additional features of the camera are Scene Recognition System, Face Detection and Active D-Lighting, which increases the image quality even more. Moreover, the monitor is arranged with the LCD panel in such a neat and compact way that it faces the camera’s back so as to protect it from any accidental shocks or strikes. This is no doubt an outstanding feature of this camera. The 2.7 inch vari-angle LCD monitor offers you 100 percent coverage of the scene in Live View and provides accurate review of the images when rotated or tilted.

The camera also allows you to shoot Motion JPEG movie clippings covering 24 frames per second with the help of its D-Movie function. The Nikon D5000 DSLR camera is provided with a rechargeable long lasting Lithium-Ion battery and is compatible with number optional devices such as the ML-L3, Wireless Remote Control, Remote Cord MC-DC2 and GPS Unit GP-1. There’s however no news of the pricing and availability of the camera yet.
