Nintendo DSi XL review

Nintendo DSi XL is 6.5 mm longer and 24 mm wider. When we use or play any game in this console it enthralls a childhood experience. This weighs more than 100 grams. This is a very beautiful system with two cameras and a microphone. It has 4.2 inch diagonal screens which is a larger screen than DS and DS Lite. The number of pixels in Nintendo DSi XL is same as that of DS. DSi only has 3.25 inch and DS Lite is with 3 inch screens. This is available in Burgundy and Bronze and also has a stylus. The glossy top contains an impressive number of fingerprints.

The stylus is just like a pen-style one which doesn’t fit properly as the normal stylus. A 3D version of the XL is to be launched following this device. As this device has a larger screen it facilitates gaming with more powerful magic in it. Now this magic can be experienced by all the people. This provides with a better and wider viewing angle. The software provided with Nintendo DSi XL is same as that of DSi and also has Brain Age Express titles and Photo Clock. This is suitable for multiple players.

This is Nintendo’s handheld series of gaming consoles with two free applications. The applications namely are Nintendo Browser and Flipnote Studio. A new range of Pokemon titles are getting introduced in Nintendo DSi XL. The Pokemon series include Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver. The Pokewalker allows us to transfer captured Pokemon. This captured Pokemon is then transferred from the DSi to a small “Tamagotchi-like” device. This device resembles as that of a digital watch with no band.

This enables us to find objects with the help of Pokewalker and also to capture Pokemon with it. Compared to its predecessors it has a very high processing speed. The processing speed was 133 MHz in the DSi and 67 MHz in the DS Lite. But actual speed variations between them were negligible. Nintendo DSi XL is easy to carry, thin and light but it is not portable.

On the top panel, it has glossy exterior. The battery life of Nintendo DSi XL is better than DSi. The battery life of DSi was not satisfactory. This super-sized DSi XL is worth $189.99. This will be made available in stores Sunday on March 28.
