Nokia C5 Symbian Powered Smartphone




Mobile giant Nokia renewed its hopes of staying afloat in current mobile market with their latest revelation- the C5 just when others were silent for a few days. The new C5 from Nokia will feature the new Symbian S60- 3rd edition OS which is expected to provide it with a good looking UI and great new features to start with. It wasn’t a secret that Nokia were developing a new high-tech smartphone with S60-3rd edition. But, not many people were sure that the phone would be unveiled in time to catch the relaxed season.

Prime features of Nokia C5 include a pretty good 3.2 megapixel camera and a great looking 2.2-inch QVGA screen. Brightness level of Nokia C5’s screen will surely please you in any light conditions. More impressive features like Ovi Maps and integrated WiFi are also included in Nokia C5. Usual features like a full-fledged MP3 player and FM radio are also provided with microSD expansion slot for expanding its phone memory. Supported network types include GSM, GPRS, EDGE and HSDPA just like all other leading Nokia handsets.

Nokia C5 is a real deal because this device focuses highly on social networking and sharing. Dedicated applications like Facebook and Twitter are not new to high-end mobile phones. But, there integration with Nokia’s UI is something worth noticing in C5. To start with, you will be provided with some of the best apps around the corner including MySpace, Flickr, YouTube and Facebook. Many downloadable apps are also supported by Nokia C5. You can stay connected wherever you go with all these apps.

As the review, Nokia C5 is expected to be available in some select regions around the globe including Europe. Expected price tag of Nokia C5 is about $182, which is one of the lowest ones you can find for a Nokia smartphone. It was expected that Nokia would try to cash in on the hype created about the arrival of a new C-series product this season, but this price-tag move has surprised many experts. Consumers have already shown great response to the handset and it is expected to get a warm welcome when it gets officially launched in Q2 of 2010.
