If you are a Nokia user and want to check your email without accessing to a computer, you can go ahead with Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. The mobile giant has incorporated its much-talked Nokia Messaging service to Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, which was unveiled this year. It is Nokia’s first full touchscreen handset.
The striking feature of the Nokia 5800 is the email service, which enables users to access to a number of popular email services such as Windows Live Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, AOL Mail and Gmail.
Atif Hussein, Vice President of Products at Nokia Messaging explained, “We’ve come to understand that a key barrier for mass email adoption is not the lack of features, but the usability. Nokia Messaging was designed for ease of use and mobility. While offering people a full feature set, Nokia Messaging still minimizes user actions and simplifies the complex, such as eliminating the need to know technical information. This reduces confusion and the amount of time taken to set up and start using the service on the phone. By prioritizing common actions and needs, we bring the most relevant and frequently used actions upfront.”
He went on saying, “With Nokia Messaging on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, we bring the service to people no matter what their input preference – touch, qwerty or monoblock.”
Nokia Messaging service is one of the popular messaging services in the world. It enables users to check their emails through their handsets without sitting before a computer. They can access to this service while they are traveling.
Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is the latest device to support this service. Apart from 5800, other 20 Nokia phones support the Nokia Messaging service. Nokia E75 is the first Nokia phone to bring this unique messaging service to the customers. Other phones carrying this service are Nokia E63, Nokia E66 and Nokia N79.
