Nokia Mural 6750 available via AT&T

nokia-6750-muralOver the past few months, the Nokia has launched a variety of handsets in US for targeting wide range of users. The handsets include music phone, 3G handsets, smartphones, and basic handsets. As the reviews, the Nokia Mural 6750 is another interesting handset, which is available via AT&T for $49.99 with a two year service contract and $50 mail-in rebate. The Mural offers 3G support along with PTT (push-to-talk) and boasts of sleek profile. Other than that you will not find anything new that you can’t find on any other handset available in the market.

Measuring 3.83 inches long, 1.85 inches wide and 0.68 inches deep, the Nokia Mural is a compact handset that weighs just 3.9 ounces. The Mural offers something different with its metal casing, which is solid and sturdy than the plethora of plastic handsets available in the market. But the metallic casing looks a bit unattractive and too shiny.

You will not notice the external display, when the backlight is off. When the display is active it shows the usual information like numeric caller ID, battery life, time and signal strength. There are three music controls below the display, which allows you to activate and use the player without opening the handset. Other exterior features include two lights for incoming call and message alert, volume rocker, the PTT button, 2.5mm headset jack, Micro-USB/ charger port.

Open the handset, you will find a 2.25-inch display. With a resolution of 320x240 pixels and 16 million color support, the internal display is bright and vibrant. The display has just the right brightness; it is neither dim nor very bright.

The Mural offers all the necessary basic features that are pretty standard. Moreover, there are lots of advanced features such as voice dialing, voice recorder, stereo Bluetooth, PC syncing, file manager, USB mass storage, and modem support. You can access AT&T’s wireless broadband services like any other 3G device. The Mural supports POP3 e-mail, AT&T’s PTT network, AT&T’s Cellular Video and Mobile Music. There are additional music features like, Music ID app, XM Radio, and music video support.

The Mural also comes with a number of subscription based apps. These include Mobile Banking, integrated GPS with support for AT&T’s navigator, MobiTV, My-Cast Weather, Yellowpages, WikiMobile, and Where app (for local search).
