Nokia N86 Smartphone goes official

Another potentially strong release from the house of Nokia, the Nokia N86 Smartphone. This is another leap for Nokia with N86 cameraphone that has an integrated camera equipped with SLR-like optics. This can be an ideal replacement for your current compact digital camera. The scratch-resistant hard glass front with a vibrantly displayed OLED forms the premium design of N86 model.
The N86 Smartphone is packed with an internal storage of 8 GB, a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, mechanical shutter, internal GPS so that you can geo-tag all your photos. It supports the Nokia’s latest software such as games compatible to Maps 3.0 and N-Gage. Another interesting feature of the device is its ability to slide both up and down as well. Sliding upwards allows you to access the numeric keypad and the downward sliding gives access to multimedia controls – exactly the same as in N95 and Nokia N85 models. The most attractive and important part o the device is its camera. The device has the feature to capture still images at 8 Megapixels and videos at 640 x 480, 30 frames per second. The phone camera has an aperture of F2.4, which helps the device handle even low light conditions also. It also includes a dual LED flash of high density. Not only it offers automatic aperture control, but also features motion blur reduction, noise reduction, video stabilizer and panorama mode.
You can store your favorite programs in an up to a memory of 24GB and the TV-Out feature allows you to plug the device into any standard Television set. The phone has a built in kickstand so that you can make the device stand up for hands free mode of games and video entertainment. On opening the kickstand, the photo slideshow is activated. Measuring approx. 103.4 x 51.4 x 16.5 mm and weighing 149 grams, the Nokia N86 Smartphone offers a talk time of up to 6.3 hours and a stand-by time of up to 312 hours. The approx. music playback of the device is up to 25 hours and gaming of up to 7 hours.
