The nuvi 1490T is an ultra thin GPS device, to say nearly 25 percent slimmer in contrast to other nuvi units. Coming with a 5-inch touchscreen display, the GPS device provides useful information regarding locations.

With nuvi 1490T, the drivers can get real time information about traffic situation in different streets, towns and cities. They will be timely informed about the road signs, turning points and route directions in an interactive way. They will also get regular traffic alerts from NAVTEQ Traffic.

The Garmin GPS device is fully loaded with interesting features such as upcoming turns, directions, strong database of different locations to ensure your journey more enjoyable.

According to Garmin, the nuvi 1490T is developed considering the needs of the travelers. The device will display big pictures of route directions, so that the traveler will not feel stranger in a new place.

The nuvi 1490T gives an option to customers to save 10 routes in advance before traveling, so that you can prefer your journey accordingly. The device features a multiple-point routing which gives real time information about different routes.

Another striking feature of the Garmin GPS device is automatic time zone transition to enable customers to fix the appropriate time zone of the place, where they are driving. The device also comes with a speed limit indicator to keep you informing about the speed limits. Hence, you will have complete control over your driving.

The most interesting feature of the device is Bluetooth wireless technology, which enables the drivers to do phone calls from the GPS device.

The nuvi 1490T GPS device will hit the market in July this year. Its price is $499.99.
