The recent joint-venture between OCZ and Symwave is likely to come with X-gen USB 3.0 solutions. Scheduled to be displayed at the International Consumer Electronics Show, which will be conducted in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 7-10, 2010, the new product is deemed to boast of high performance external solid state drives.

Eugene Chang, VP of Product Management at the OCZ, was quoted to have said that the leading USB 3.0 storage controller of Symwave has made external SSD device possible to deliver 10x the USB 2.0 transfer at 5Gb/s, and many ‘green’ developments, such as; lower CPU utilization and better-quality power management.
On the other hand, Technology Group, was quoted to have said that we are bent upon being at the cutting edge of the market by making available products, which boasts of a reliability, matchless performance and design to set free the capacity of flash-enabled storage.
