Olympus plays out µTough-6020 digital camera

Photography fiends should be flashing a smile in Olympus’ direction. It’s just been some days, when the company hit the selves with its all-new SP-800UZ & Pen E-PL1 cameras, and now it has got yet another tidbit for the camera buffs. The all-new camera is called as the µTough-6020, which is not only water-resistant, freeze-proof but shockproof.
The latest digital camera is also adorned with the features of a 14mp CCD, which touts to proffer 5 x zoom and dual Image Stabilization. The device is also water-resistant about 5 meters depth, up to 1.5 meters shockproof and around 10°C temperatures freezeproof too. In addition, the device also comes packed with 2GB of onboard memory and for Tough Series LCD, it boasts of a 2.7” HyperCrystal III. It also allows video recording in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 formats on an SD/SDHC card.
The µTough-6020 also comes incorporated with a 28mm wide-angle lens and is featured with proprietary [ib] software of the company. The USB battery charging helps battery to get recharged through a PC whereas recorded data is being organized and hoarded on the PC. Its Sliding lock boasts of securing the lid so that it does not get opened with ease.
The additional properties are included with Face Detection AF, iAUTO, AF Tracking, Shadow Adjustment technology, Macro LED, Magic Filter effects and so on. Olympus’ µTough-6020 digital camera comes dressed in shades, such as; green & pink before Feb 2010 comes to end.
Well, for the last couple of days, there has been a rain of avant-garde digital cameras from Olympus, and all those are crammed with leading-edge technology and advanced features. Specially, the year 2010 seems to be fully dedicated to the digital cameras and from the very beginning of the year, the leading giant of camera-world have showered their brand-new digital camera. So, there is going to be a very tough war among them.
