Olympus’ new cameras sport HD video recording, HDMI out, wild colors

The SLR cameras, their moment of expose and their lens aren’t easy to figure out for all of us, or you can say these are not everybody’s cup of tea, but still we love to know and taste about them. So, for simpletons of photography, Olympus has now wrapped off its nine pristine digital cameras, which differ not only in price but sophistication as well. Interesting to know that the lowest price of one of these five point-and-shoot models is just $261.
First to pop up is the µ-series, which boasts of five models in its arsenal and each of these five models come with a diverse zoom, though they too have digital sensor. The four new point-and-shoot models hug a 14mp sensor, though the µ-9010 comes with 10x zoom, the µ-7030 and µ-7040 are said to be featuring 7x zoom, whereas the µ-5010 will be offering supporting for 5x zoom.
The all five cameras would be supporting HD movie recording, though at 720p. They will also be providing support for image stabilization. The five cameras are also included with an HDMI-out port, using which; your preferred HD movies could simply be played back on a larger and bigger screen.
Besides the maximum internal memory of 2GB, these cameras would also be embracing a SD card slot.
On the other hand, Olympus also boasts its FE series cameras that are cheaper than the µ-series. Cameras from this series come with the 14mp sensor just like the µ-series had, but the HDMI port, HD video and storage capacity have been cut out there. The FE models have also been dipped in an assortment of shades, the company with its simple operation, is trying to follow its moto of; one function, one button,
All the cameras from their respective series are expected to be shipped in March 2010. The µ Series is expected to come with the price tag of around $326, while for the FE Series, the costumers may have to shell out $261.
