Olympus has announced the availability of its new offering in the form of an underwater case for the Olympus PEN E-PL1 Micro Four Thirds System camera. So, the users, who are yenning to capture those underwater adventures with PEN E-PL1 could now happily enjoy the adventure photography. Soon to be shipped in the market, the latest waterproof housing allows high-class images and touts to be the 1st ever water-resisting housing for a Micro Four Thirds System camera, compact and light in weight.
The latest case could be taken for swimming for around 40 meters deep and also takes the advantages of the Pen E-PL1’s Underwater Wide shooting & Underwater Macro modes.
The optical connectors, for off-camera illumination, boast of offering around two UFL-2 Underwater Flash units. The PT-EP01 (for Olympus PEN E-PL1) Underwater case would be made available on March 2010, with the price tag of just ¥71,000, which is around Rs. 35,977, according to Indian currency.
