Computer manufacturer Onkyo entered Japanese market with their latest Onkyo E411A5B all-in-one PC. Asian market is a great platform for all-in-one PCs as they are much smaller in size than a full-fledged PC. Their newest all-in-one PC features a 1.66GHz Intel Atom 330 processor which is generally used in low-power netbooks and similar tablet PCs. The processor is also expected to reduce power usage. 2GB of DDR2 memory combined with NVIDIA ION chipset provide enough resources to handle all internet related applications. The all-in-one PC doesn’t have over-the-top configuration and hence is not suitable for hardcore applications, gaming and advanced purposes like video encoding, etc.
21.5-inch LCD screen provides 1920×1080p resolution which supports full HD video support. With such large screen and full HD resolution, one can enjoy excellent movie entertainment. You can also connect external surround speaker system for better home theatre experience. The all-in-one PC also has a 320GB SATA hard drive which is enough to store internet files and other multimedia files like movies, songs and videos. But, some of you may want to extent the storage capacity even further. They can opt for external hard drive solutions which are available in market now at very low rates. By connecting external hard drives via available USB ports, you can utilize extra memory space, which is also portable.
Advanced features of Onkyo all-in-one PC include built-in TV tuner which will let you enjoy HD TV on its excellent screen with a dedicated remote control. You won’t need to have a separate TV set at home to enjoy your favorite TV shows. Networking solutions supported by Onkyo’s all-in-one PC include Wi-Fi connectivity and Gigabit Ethernet port which can be used to achieve high speed internet connectivity.
The PC also has six USB 2.0 ports at convenient positions for easy and quick access. You can connect multimedia devices, external storage devices and other compatible devices at once. Even with all these features, Onkyo has managed to keep the product within acceptable margins as far as weight and dimensions are concerned. The all-in-one PC is now available in Japanese markets for $999 which is a pretty decent price for such configuration.
