‘Enjoy’- an android-running e-book reader from Oppo
If you always have a prying eye for the new gadgets from China, then you must be well- versed with Oppo, a company, which is into the manufacturing of portable media players and the chic mobile phones of which many are intended for the youths and stylish crowd.
Oppo seems to be aware of the market scenario at global level, that’s why the company is planning to awe all with its e-book reader. Don’t think of it as just an ordinary eInk- built reader, but friends it is what you wouldn’t have ever expected. Yes, the upcoming e-book is based on Google’s Android OS that is being used in almost all the devices rolled out in the market today.
Cloned in China reports that the Oppo’s upcoming portable e-book reader is christened as “Enjoy” and is all set to gobble up almost all the market share that Hanvon China-based e-book leader, firmly holds. Though a lot of other companies too have the same purpose, Oppo’s entrance in the market with a hardcore experience in portable solutions may turn it highly gung ho.
Though the company has not divulged much about the specs of the device, but it is quite a good thing to known that the device would come featured with a 2GB memory module, which is good enough to hoard around 4,000 e-books. Besides, the device is also said to be providing a literally wide file format support, such as (Excel, Word, PPT), Epub, PDF, CHM, HTML and a lot more.
Besides, Oppo has also not divulged any detail about the availability and pricing of the e-book reader, but the company also gives hint that the moment is not far when its Android based Enjoy e-book reader will blast all and sundry.
Plus, it is also hard to tell now if the Android-running Enjoy would be enjoyed by others out of chine or it would just be confined to the Chinese market. Let’s hope the attractive device come to our own lands as well.
