Palm Pre reviews – the first webOS mobile phone

Palm unveiled the breaking news of the availability of Palm Pre mobile phone in the first half of this year. Based on the new platform – the webOS mobile platform, this mobile phone is expected to actually hit the market with a good score.
This all new gadget has been given the shape of an egg keeping in mind the recent trends. An egg shaped body with a curved touchscreen and a brilliant 3.1 inch 320 x 480 pixels multitouch display forms the most primary feature of this phone. The multi-touch feature extends beyond the screen area upto the gesture area with a rollerball and touch sensitivity feature. Integrated with EvDO, Rev A, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth stereo, 8GB storage, and a fast processor, the Pre is the most happening discussion among the mobile lovers. A 3-megapxel camera with a LED flash, an accelerometer, proximity and ambient light are some of the additional features of this phone. Now comes the keyboard, which happens to be one of the most essential part of any mobile gadget. It includes a vertical slider and a banana slider keyboard.
This 135 grams (4.76 ounce) user-friendly mobile phone measures 59.57mm (W) x 100.53mm (L, closed) x 16.95mm (D) in dimension and is available with an internal user storage of 8GB and MicroUSB connector with Hi-speed USB 2.0. A key feature of webOS – ‘Palm Synergy’ that has been introduced in the phone, which is capable of bringing all your information from different places into a single logical view. Pre offers you a unique interface that actually understands your every need and thinks ahead of you. A number of Sprint services are supported by your Palm Pre mobile phone.
The first availability of Palm Pre is has been scheduled in United States from Sprint followed by UMTS version for other regions. However, the pricing of this most awaited phone has not yet been determined.
