Panasonic’s new camcorders SDR-H80, SDR-H90, SDR-S26


Panasonic has come up with the release of its state-of-the-art and best-of-the-breed cam-corders, comprising 2 HDD models, which are known as SDR-H80 (60GB), SDR-H90 (80GB), and 1 SD Card model – SDR-S26. As their reviews, the new Panasonic SDR-H80, SDR-H90 and SDR-S26 camcorders, the company claims, come built-in with the world’s first and most powerful 70x optical ultra-zoom lens that boasts of (O.I.S.) an avant-garde Optical Image Stabilization system and Panasonic’s proprietary (iA) Intelligent Auto technologies.

Dennis Eppel, VP, Network Business Group, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company, was quoted as saying, “Before today, traditional camcorder lenses could zoom up to 50x, but with the extra 20x our new camcorders provide, Panasonic is the first to offer such a robust solution, Panasonic understands that consumers sometimes need that extra zoom to truly capture dynamic colors, expressions and motions when the subject is far away, such as during an on-stage school play or sporting event.”
The new Panasonic SDR-H80, SDR-H90 and SDR-S26 camcorders are expected to be rolled out in the market in April 2009 with the price tag of around $450, $500 and $330, correspondingly.

Additional Features Of Panasonic SDR-H80, SDR-H90 and SDR-S26 camcorders:

•Easy Copy to DVD – The majority of people make use of their camcorders for 3 main purposes: to shoot, play, and archive video recordings. They wish for each of these functions to be as simple as possible. But with the help of this feature, the users can save data onto DVDs but for having any fuss. By getting the camcorder connected to the VW-BN1 DVD Burner (optional) utilizing a USB cable, the user can easily copy video recordings to a 12-cm DVD (DVD-RAM/-RW/-R/-R DL), and later can play back the disc on DVD players.
