Besides LUMIX DMC-FX580, Panasonic has also come up with the release of its latest Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FX48 (a.k.a. DMC-FX40). The stylish and sleek 12.1 megapixel digital camera comes built-in with an assortment of striking features, which boasts of enriching your digital life. The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FX48 is touted to be sophisticated, easy-to-carry and intuitive to use.
Features wise, the LUMIX DMC-FX48 comes integrated with a 12.1 effective megapixel CCD, 25mm ultra-wide-angle LEICA DC lens with robust 5x optical zoom. Plus, it brags of bright 2.5? (230,000-dot) resolution Intelligent LCD, which consists of high resolution and wide viewing angle. The LUMIX DMC-FX48 also comes built-in with Panasonic’s proprietary sophisticated iA (Intelligent Auto) mode that boasts adding Face Recognition feature.
The Venus Engine V processor claims to improve its energy efficiency by sixteen per cent (likened to the Venus Engine IV). Rest of the striking highlights of the Panasonic LUMIX FX48 are its battery life, that can offer up to 350 pictures (CIPA), and it is also able to record HD (1280 x 720p) motion images at 30 fps, its high-speed Burst mode and Panorama Assist scene mode, Macro Zoom function.
Speaking high of LUMIX DMC-FX48, David Briganti, National Marketing Manager, Imaging, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company, was quoted as saying,, “With Panasonic’s acclaimed FX-Series, we are pursuing high photo quality in a camera body that is sophisticated, easy-to-carry and intuitive to use. With features like Face Recognition and High Definition video capability, we are packing advanced and powerful features into a small, attractive camera that can easily be carried in a pocket or purse.”
Weighed just 150g and measured just 95.3 x 52.9 x 21.5 mm, the latest slim and ultra-compact LUMIX FX48 digital camera is expected to be made available in black and silver colors in April with the price tag of around $350.
