Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 digital interchangeable lens camera revealed

Following the successful launch of Lumix DMC-G2 camera, Panasonic now has come up with its latest Lumix DMC-G10 digital camera, which is claimed to be the lightest digital interchangeable lens camera of the world. Complete with viewfinder, the latest camera is built-in with oodles of ground-breaking digital camera functions and similar to the G2, it is also capable of recording HD video and still images.

Thanks to its portable and mirrorless design, which rids of optical mirror box and view-finder unit, the camera gets lightweight. The G10 comes in full kit that sport the F3.5-5.6 ASPH, Lumix G Vario 14-42mm/ MEGA O.I.S. lens. The user-friendly digicam proffers owners an iA mode that comes along with trouble-free shooting assist functions. A built-in dedicated iA button gets lighted up in a blue haze while busy.

The iA also touts to offer the users with Intelligent ISO Control, Mega O.I.S., Intelligent Scene Selector and Intelligent Exposure. The camera is also capable of recording 1280 x 720 HD video in varied formats, like; VGA, Motion JPEG, WVGA and QVGA. The user is also allowed to do recording of HD videos through a varied interchangeable high-class lenses. The AF Tracking allows users to crack down on any moving subject.

This helps capture beautiful and clear images sans of any blur. The Category Playback is said to allow the owners to just choose viewing images, with a particular registered face. An extensive series of AF modes are also available to opt from it, such as; 1-area AF, AF Tracking, Face Detection AE/AF/ 23-area AF.

The Live View Finder offers 202,000-dot equal resolution. This can also give the view of an optical viewfinder and keeps informed about the settings, but for eyeing aside from the subject under consideration. The LCD & Live View Finder allows owners to enjoy a full field view.

The G10 is also featured with 12.1mp Live MOS sensor, highly-efficient Dust Reduction System and latest Venus Engine HD II. The Lumix DMC-G10 offers support for Micro Four Thirds System lenses.
