Parrot Minikit Slim Reviews – Alternative to Bluetooth head sets

The Minikit is small, sleek and very simple and can be carried around easily. Measuring at 4.3 x 2.4 x 1.1 inches the Minikit is small and weighs at a mere 2.9 ounces. The design is authentic and the size does not compromise on its looks either

The smooth rubber coating integrates a small knob for adjusting the speakerphone and two buttons next to the knob represents the Send and End buttons. A small metal clip is embedded on to its back which ensures that it can hold on to the car’s visor. As the features, the Minikit Slim has a micro-USB cable which is used for charging. It incorporates simplicity in design and ease of use, with a press of the power button the device can be initiated.

You can then use your cell phone to pair with the device, when the Minikit slim detects your cell phone, upon confirmation it automatically gathers your contact list and stores it. The voice recognition system now can be used to command the device to call a particular individual by first pressing the green button. Apart from the voice command a rotary encoder can be used to scroll though the phone book. The knob can be used to browse and the voice automatically announces menu options.

You can expect a good quality sound experience thought the Minikit Slim. It incorporates a flat panel speaker technology introduced by NXT. This technology uses the vibrations to create sound thereby avoiding the use of a cumbersome speaker. Despite of the Minikit’s advancement the volume level somehow has been compromised, even when turned way up, the sound level is pretty low. The battery works for around three hours of phone calls after a complete charge.

The Minikit also comes with a car adapter which can be plugged into the cigarette lighter outlet if needed to be charged. So if in case you are tired or bored of wearing a Bluetooth head set while you drive than get your hands on the Parrot Minikit Slim.
