Phase One Introduces pro version of raw photo editor

Phase One has announced the release of Capture One 4 PRO RAW workflow software, a new incarnation of the company’s higher-end photo editing software. With the release of Capture One 4 PRO, Phase One has delivered new advances for medium format digital photography. The latest version boasts of being much speedier than its predecessor.

Capture One 4 PRO has specifically been tailored to handle the raw images from higher-end cameras–especially Phase One’s highly-regarded medium-format models with almost 65-megapixel resolution, but other manufacturers’ models too. Phase One’s Capture One 4 PRO allows to create custom tool tabs with existing personal toolsets, and to work with multi-monitor setups.

Capture One 4 PRO also helps users develop and enhance RAW digital files. They are also allowed to customize their menu, creating the custom palettes and interface that suits best to their work style. The other features of the latest software are: selective color, skin tone tool, lens enhancement tools, and a redesigned styles feature. Capture One 4 PRO is built on a darkroom paradigm to augment images and lessen the requirement for post-production.

A new array of high-quality lenses are: the 45mm f2.8, 28mm f4.5, 120mm f4.0, 150mm f2.8, 80mm f2.8, 75-150mm f4.5 zoom lenses. These lenses have been optimized for high resolution digital capture. The Styles feature is redesigned to offer photographers broader options in creating and exploring distinctive looks that can be reproduced and controlled to bring about an exclusive signature.

The Phase One P 65+, Sensor+ technology endow photographers with a capture mode whereby they can “dial down” to 15 MP resolution, and obtain an ISO range of 100 to 1600 with smaller file sizes (ranging from small 10 MB to large 15 MB RAW files) for speedy post processing.

Besides, Phase One helps the pro photographers who like to have precise, responsive, effective choices to meet uncompromising standards of quality
