PHILIPS GoGear SA2825 reviews – Lets’ make music better…

If you are going to judge the performance of a gadget considering only its size then there are definite chances that you are going towards a wrong conclusion. The all new PHILIPS GoGear SA2825 is coming to rock the world of MP3 players. The tiny but effective MP3 player from the house of PHILIPS is sure going to be a fascination for you on a busy midway.

Generally Philips has a trend of producing feature rich MP3 players in an affordable price. This latest MP3 player not only plays music but it can be utilized in many other ways too. With a dark translucent front makes it worthy of sight with OLED screen just below it. In general anything, which has a glossy finish works like a fingerprint magnet, it behaves like that too. The display can house four lines of text at a time and exploring through menus is easy enough due to the proper brightness of the device. On the edge various function keys or buttons are encased on a silver strip on the side. A mini USB port sealed with rubber cap allows you the freedom of outside connectivity. Indicators in the front screen are helpful while navigating through menus and playing the tracks.

The user friendly menu view is easy to use and folder view permits quick toggling between tracks arranged in different sources. The unit comes with an internal storage of 2GB. You can also record songs from FM and its quality is also good enough though certain noises are observed when you attempt for a real time recording. A measure of eliminating background noises was expected. Anyway you can save upto as much as 20 FM channels using the slots provided herewith. Playing tracks through the ear plug is surely an enjoyable experience but full body sound control has a lot of scope for improvement. Battery back-up is about average.

In the nutshell the INR Rs.2,999 MP3 player is a fine portable unit with a stylish look. Your decision to opt for it is quite appreciable.
