Philips launches fitness expert Active MP3 player


In it all dynamic bid to provide users a healthier and active lifestyle, Philips introduced an all new Activa portable audio player at the CES 2010. Not only Activa, the company all set to roll out the DirectLife daily activity monitor and personal training. These are to be out in the UK and Germany early this year.

Activa is like a friend in need in that it motivates users to workout regularly and guides users as a trainer. Its unique aspect incorporates its ability to select faster music as per the by the pace of the exercise. The device looks sleek and boasts of a durable body.

As the reviews, the Activa portable player will be helpful in tracking time. It will also motivate users to do physical exercise, so that they can stay healthy and sound. The device is portable and latest in the segment. This magical device from Philips helps turn good intentions into actual behavior.

The device boasts of TempoMusic feature which selects music to match with the user’s pace of workout. Philip’s proprietary software analyses the user’s music library. Users can also select songs which could encourage them to toil and the device asks for that. The Activa incorporates progress monitoring to record user’s performance and also surpass the previous workout records.

But here is good news for those who have a zeal for an active lifestyle. In its new venture to health and well-being, Philips, in October 2009, came up with DirectLife, which is an interactive, customized fitness program for a lifestyle.

Philip’s DirectLife is prepared to expand in 2010. It is all set to launch in Germany this month and later in the United Kingdom. The Philips Activa will reach customers global from April 2010 at a proposed retail price of $129.99 (approx Rs. 6,009). So, if you are passionate about living a healthy and well-being lifestyle, the Philips’ DirectLife is all set to make you healthy musically.
