Plustek has tightened its belt to roll out its OpticBook series of scanners for office and home use. The new range of Plustek comes built-in with three scanners, which are known as OpticBook A300, 3600 and 4600. With this range, Plustek has augmented its current array of scanners that come included with handheld scanners, wide format scanners, sheet fed/flat bed scanners and IP cameras.
The new lineup of OpticBook boasts of providing speed at a cost-effective price.
As the reviews, the OpticBook A300 is included with effective image processing software and highly accurate OCR (optical character recognition) software for clear and crisp images. This USB 2.0 scanner is capable of scanning an A3 size doc within 2.4 secs. Plus, you are able to save the clear and crisp images of the docs in different formats. In addition, you can convert the scanned images speedily and safely into PDF files. The A300 is also capable of scanning oversize and thick books but for dismantling and unbinding them. This trait of the scanner is perfect for reference sections of libraries.
As the features, the OpticBook 4600 and the OpticBook 3600 have specially been crafted for office work and can perfume easily any administration task. These scanners come combined with the size of traditional scanners including complex, enormous and expensive scanners. This scanner is also capable of eliminating the deformation brought about by the curvature of the book spines. It can also directly display the scanned content on the PC screen.
Besides, the users can also make use of the OpticBook 3600 to save the scanned docs in various formats such as tif, bmp, jpg, PDF and more.
