As per the revised price, the 80GB PS3 is likely to be priced something about Rs. 19,990. It is 20 percent less than the previous pricing. Not only the price cutting, the company has also extended two new games in the new pack. The two new games are called Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and GT5 Prologue.
The revised price is intended for the Indian market. Sony claims that the company gives utmost importance on gaming, which it thinks a major interactive entertainment avenue for the Indian customers.
Announcing company’s plan to price cut, Atindriya Bose, Sony Computer Entertainment elucidated that the high adoption of Playstation by the Indian consumers will further be increased by the latest offerings and prices before the Indian festive seasons.
He further says that the latest sub – 20K price on PS3 not only makes it stand tall in terms of a gorgeous gaming console but dubs it the best (possibly) value for money Blu-Ray entertainment device for the family.
With festivity season round the corner, the latest offer from Sony will most possibly lure the customers, who are definitely looking for owning the device and the Playstation models to boost up their home entertainment experience.
PS3 is a perfect gaming device because it comes with all the necessary features meant for entertainment. The latest price rate will further lure the customers.
The PS3 enables the customers to view High Definition Blu-Ray movies. It also features a Wireless Internet, Wireless Controller and HDMI connectivity.
However, the company has not disclosed the availability of this device.
