Samsung Galaxy 2

One of the most anticipated mobile phones of the year, Samsung Galaxy 2 has recently made an appearance in the wild. Samsung Galaxy was proven to be a hit taking on giants from other Android-manufacturers like Motorola and HTC. The newest Androphone from Samsung made an unofficially debut yesterday with a few tech forums providing a few images of the phone. Even if Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed it as Galaxy 2, insider news is that this is the phone that you are looking for.

Samsung has introduced something really interesting as far as configuration is concerned. Galaxy 2 from Samsung will make use of a standard 1GHz processor from Snapdragon platform. Qualcomm has been really successful implementing the powerful 1GHz processor platform in mobile technology. We are not yet sure about why Samsung has chosen to import a Snapdragon processor in Galaxy 2 as they manufacture their own CPU-on-chip gadgets. They are more than capable of producing similar CPU for Galaxy 2.

But, perhaps popularity and success rate of Snapdragon was so good that Samsung had no choice. The result is also incredible with extremely good looking graphics for mobile phones and great compatibility. Other great features from Galaxy 2 include a huge 3.7-inch AMOLED crystal clear display which perfectly suits the image of Galaxy 2.As expected, Galaxy 2 runs on latest Android 2.1 OS from Google and is also expected to feature a very good 5MP camera that is best used for general photography.

You will be surprised to hear that Galaxy 2 is said to have a shocking 32GB of internal memory. Very few people may actually go for external memory with this much space being more than enough for most users. Business users would feel that they’ve got everything covered in this 32GB but multimedia lovers could use something extra with expandable memory. A dedicated 3.5mm audio jack would make it a perfect multimedia phone. We are yet awaiting official announcement from Samsung and are expecting them to go forward with it in a month. Considering its feature set and looks, we can expect that users might have to spend some extra bucks to upgrade from their current Galaxy.
