Samsung lands in Korea with its R0 multimedia player

The newly-introduced R0 (YP-R0) multimedia player is now all set to entertain the music buffs in South Korea. The brand new media player is claimed to offer sophisticated video and audio capabilities in a compact and sleek form factor.
On the feature front, the Samsung R0 comes integrated with a 2.6-inch TFT LCD screen. It also boasts of being subsumed with a MicroSD memory slot, which users can utilize to expand storage capacity for around 16GB. The multimedia player is also said to come in two versions, 8GB and 4GB.
Jooho Song, Vice President, Samsung Electronics, was quoted to have said that the R0 is a first-class device, which boasts of providing superb multimedia capabilities a gorgeous design and convenient user interface. The R0 is also touted to permit the users ease of an in-built MicroSD slot, which allows them to expand memory capacity when enjoying the functionality and features.

The latest media player comes with the spontaneous functionality of Drag & Drop, which helps users take full advantage of their video and audio libraries anytime, anywhere. The Samsung R0 is also claimed to offer support for lots of formats, like XviD, DivX, WMV, H.264. Besides, the patented DNSe 3.0 sound augmentation technology of Samsung is also claimed to deliver crystal clear sound quality.

The R0 comes colored in techno silver, rap pink and indie black. The 4GB model comes with the price tag of around KRW 139,000, whereas the 8GB device has been priced up to KRW 179,000. The device has grabbed the attention of all and sundry, that is why; it is being rolled out in several countries.
