Samsung Metro 5200 arrives in India


Samsung now presents a new slider phone for the ever-growing Indian market. Priced at Rs 7,439, the new Samsung Metro 5200 comes in a dual hued pattern and wraps market with Face detection and fake calls. The 10.9 mm slider is also embedded with smile shot view.

Dazzling in Blue, Black and Red, the Samsung Metro 5200 chic also boasts providing an only one of its kind 3D sound experience. The Metro 5200 is also featured with startling features of multimedia and stands out in editing and video recording.

Besides, the Metro 5200 also comes built-in with 3.0mp camera, which, with LED, abets users to capture the wonderful moments of their lives. The integrated 2.1? inch 16M TFT Display, with a resolution of around 240×320 pixels, helps the device provide an exotic display. Measured 104 x 49 x 10.9 mm and weighed around 97g, the Metro 5200 can also be called a good entertainer as it boasts of downloadable polyphonic, MP3/AAC/WMA player, WAV Ring tones, MP3 and stereo FM alongside RDS.

The handset also proffers a social interaction via Google search and Google mail. The all new Metro 5200 gets connected by means of USB port, Bluetooth (v 2.0) with A2DP and GPRS/EDGE.

The Metro 5200 is also claimed to be a GSM (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) quad band phone. It boasts of up to 50 MB internal memory alongside an 8 GB Micro SD card slot, which comes bundled with 1 GB extra and is capable of storing around 1000 phone entries.

The Samsung Metro 5200 is additionally highlighted with MMS, SMS, Email, Document viewer (Excel, Word, PDF and PowerPoint) and HTML browser. Besides, the Li-Ion 800 mAh Battery helps the phone to get energized. The new slider Metro 5200 also proffers up to 5hrs talk-time and around 3hrs of standby time. For a phone, which comes at such a cost-effective price and avant-garde features, the Indian costumers would definitely go ahead. But let’s see if the device house in their hearts.
