If you think of a mobile phone that should have everything, Samsung OMNIA is an ideal Smartphone for you. Whether you are a businessman or into traveling, the multi-featured Samsung Omnia boasts of serving you right. The avant-garde smartphone is touted to be one of the best mobile phones developed by Samsung up till now.
The very striking feature of Samsung Omnia is its100 percent touch-screen interface that is aesthetically tailored to become the talk of the town. Samsung OMNIA is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and is integrated with MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Also built-in on the OMNIA is a 5-megapixel CMOS camera, which has auto focus, face and smile detection and the capability of an auto-panorama shot. The OMNIA comes equipped with an 8 or 16GB memory with an expandable slot that lets you boost up the memory.
Needless to say, a smart phone like OMNIA can’t go but for having a GPS, including navigation and geo-tagging capabilities, so you will never get lost wherever you are. The OMNIA is also integrated with an optical mouse for ease of navigation.
A few of the cutting edge specs of the Samsung Omnia are as follows: GPS, WiFi, and 8 or 16GB of Flash with microSD expansion, 5-megapixel autofocus camera, quadband EDGE, 7.2Mbps HSDPA 2100, 3.2-inch capacitive WQVGA touchscreen, Windows Mobile 6.1, all wrapped in a tight little brushed metal case.
The Samsung OMNIA is claimed to be the first Samsung Windows Media Smartphone to include the TouchWiz interface that allows you to personalize your home window with a range of widgets. Its TouchWiz is similar to the TouchFLO interface offered by HTC. The phone also has a mouse pointer, which helps navigating around the menu with ease.
Dissimilar to other competitor’s models, the Samsung OMNIA also comes with an on screen QWERTY keyboard that helps you make your calls and send text messages with ease. The OMNIA is measured just 12.5 mm with a platinum look finish. Though every-thing is well with Samsung OMNIA, only problem with the phone are the narrow buttons of the QWERTY keyboard that could be a tad problematic for some with fat fingers. Otherwise, Samsung Omnia is a true iPhone killer.
