Samsung Omnia II comes to India

After the grand success in many countries, the Samsung Omnia II has, finally, landed in Indian market to strengthen its hold. The Samsung Omnia II–GT I8000 is said to come in built with a host of high-performance features.
Being an ideal concoction business, multimedia and style performance, the device boasts of getting powered by Windows 6.1 Mobile platform. It comes in an eye-catching design alongside a sleek finish. But, the USP (unique selling point) of the device is its intuitive 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display and 3D user interface.
This3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen screen is claimed to provide only one of its kind vivid colors, sharpness of tone and enhanced or augmented clarity when there is direct sunlight.
Talking of grand launch of Samsung Omnia II, Ranjeet Yadav, Director IT & Telecom, Samsung Electronics, was quoted to say that Omnia II has been crafted with the intention of taking user experience to the next level. The new handset isn’t just great in look, but it comes with enhanced usability and functionality and makes use of the unconventional technologies and messaging platforms.
Apart from all that, the Omnia II is also said to come with a variety of motion-base traits, such as; video library, 3D photo album, browser bookmarks, music library as well as FM Radio. The handset is also claimed to offer compatibility for online mobile widgets and all the rage social networking sites, like; Picasa, Facebook, Flickr and above. It is built-in with 8GB internal memory as well, which is expandable through a 32GB memory card.
By introducing the Omnia II–GT I8000, Samsung wants to make its place stronger in India’s touchscreen market. This latest Samsung touchscreen handset comes with the price tag of around Rs. 28,990. However, looking at the products that are already built-in with this feature, it can be said it will have to undergo a tough competition and will take time to stand tall among those contenders.
