samsung-omnia Samsung has displayed several new brands at CommunicAsia 2009. The latest smartphones are the Omnia II (I8000), the Omnia Pro B7610, the Omnia Pro B7320 and the Omnia Lite B7300. The common feature of all the smartphones is full-touch and QWERTY keypad.

Based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the Omnia II I8000 brings a host of multimedia applications for the customers. It features a 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen display screen with WVGA resolution to ensure the customers clear images. It also features Touch Wiz 2.0 User Interface and interactive 3D games. As the reviews, it ensures DVD like video recording at 480p with quick and speedy access to the internet. It also features 5.76Mbps HSUPA, 7.2Mbps HSDPA and Wi-Fi capabilities. It is based on Advanced R Touch, which ensures faster and correct touch response.

The Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 has a hybrid Touch and QWERTY keyboard. Hence, you can operate Microsoft Office Suite and multiple email solutions seamlessly. It brings fast internet accessibility with Opera 9.5.

The Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 also supports HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity. It comes with a 5 mp camera. It also provides GPS services.

The Omnia Pro B7320 is also known as portable messaging device. It has a QWERTY keyboard and features a 3 megapixel camera with FM radio and Wi-Fi support. It brings you social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.

The Omnia Lite B7300 possesses all the features the above phones have. It supports Opera Browser and HSDPA & Wi-Fi connectivity. The handset sports a 3MP camera and A-GPS connectivity. The latest Samsung smartphones can also be upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.5.

Samsung has showcased these mobile devices CommunicAsia 2009 and grabbed media attention. However, the company has not disclosed the price and availability of the smartphones.
