Samsung has uncovered its new R80 series of laptops. Samsung R480, R580 and R780 are the newly updated laptops of existing R series. Intel Core i3 processor powers Samsung R480. R480 has RAM DDR3 of 4 GB and Intel GMA 4500MHD graphic chip. This 14 inches wide screen laptop will be available with Window 7 as starter pack.
Resolution of the screen is 1366 x 768. 500GB of HDD is a great storage capacity. R480 has Blu ray optical drive and built in 3W stereo speakers. This will create a better sound and user can enjoy it thoroughly. Web camera of 0.3 megapixel and LAN are a few other added features of Samsung R480. R480 weighs only 5.07 lbs.
As the review, Samsung R580 has updated processor, Intel Core i5. This laptop with 15.6 inches wide LED backlit LCD screen will be available with 4 GB RAM similar to R480. The next of the updated R80 series of Samsung is R780. R780 is powered by high definition graphics by NVIDIA, GeForce GT 330M. This is the most outstanding quality of R580 as well as R780 laptops. Samsung R780 has Intel Core i5 processor and Windows 7. The memory is same as other new R80 series laptop, which is 4 GB RAM and 500 GB hard drive. The display of R780 is 17.3 inches wide with LED backlit and the optical drive is Super Multi Dual Layer.
