Samsung digital imaging launched ST1000. It is first ever digital camera with the features never ever seen before. The device comes with features like geo-tagging, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi. It is the first compact to offer 3.5 inch touch screen LCD with 1.2 million dot resolution and multi-wireless connectivity. Built-in GPS technology displays the name and region of the city which helps user with real time display of location. A 12.2 megapixel ST 1000 comes with 35mm and 5x optical zoom lens providing clear images with even resolution from centre to corner of an image.
Smart Touch Auto Focus system puts complete control of focusing system on the fingertips of the user. Smart Auto feature analyzes color, position, motion and brightness of the object and then automatically adjust it to take perfect shot. Samsung’s advanced Face Recognition system can remember faces it sees frequently. Camera can store 20 faces in the internal memory and allows user to search favorite faces in images or videos.
‘Blink detection mode’ captures series of shots when closed eyes are detected. ‘Smile mode’ captures shots when smile is detected. There is ‘Beauty shot’ mode which allows user to remove all the imperfections on the subject’s face such as wrinkles, moles leaving skin smooth.
