samsung-12mpAlready we have been to CES 2009, where a lot of tech giants tried to garner attention of consumers to their products. I think that wasn’t enough that is why companies are trying to bring the consumers to the Mobile World Congress, which is slated to be held in this very month. Then also Samsung kept us in awe by launching its latest and greatest prod-ucts, now also it is rumored that the company is trying to garner the attention with the roll out of world’s 1st mobile phone that will come built-in with a 12-megapixel camera. The secrets of the upcoming product have been picked up by the Korean newspaper Money Today.

Though the paper was able to gain just a few of the phone, the sensor is expected to be almost fifty percent denser as opposed to the 8-megapixel sensors on the company’s best cameraphones, for example the Samsung INNOV8 and Samung Pixon. Historically Samsung has given these handsets auto focusing in addition to flash. Well, it is not confirmed yet, but still if is found accurate, the handset is believed to be made public at the Mobile World Congress event at this month and would have been produced in mass before the end of this month, with the purpose of rolling out the handset sometime afterwards.

Besides, it was also revealed that the phone first of all will be made available in Europe but isn’t essentially restricted to the area; the Pixon is previously said to make its way to AT&T and Rogers after this year.

Including the stronger camera helps Samsung for its high-end cellphones, a lot of which also come built-in with touchscreens and so could vie with comparatively modest smart-phones such as HTC’s Touch Diamond and Apple’s iPhone, which comes built-in with 2- and 3.2-megapixel cameras correspondingly; most camera-focused touchscreen phones, for example the 5-megapixel LG Viewty.
