Samsung Unveils YP-Z3 Portable Media Player

Samsung has recently introduced yet another compact and lightweight portable media player (PMP) known as Samsung YP-Z3 PMP. The Samsung YP-Z3 portable media player comes with a rich set of cutting-edge features to offer high-quality entertainment.

Samsung YP-Z3 Portable Media Player Design and Build

The new stylish Samsung YP-Z3 portable media player comes in three different color combinations, Cole black, Soft blue and Baby pink. The exterior dimensions of the Samsung YP-Z3 portable media players are specified as 38.9 X 81.5 X 9.9 mm and it weighs a bit more than 30 g. The Samsung YP-Z3 portable media player is designed in high quality molded plastic material which ensures of high durability and it sports a shock and scratch resistant exteriors.

The operating temperature range is specified as -5 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius. The Samsung YP-Z3 portable media player sports a brilliant 1.8-inch QQVGA display screen with a resolution of 160×128 pixels. The rear side features Menu key, Back key, Navigation/Selective button with multiple operations like four way navigation, selection, play, pause, skip, move and search. The dedicated Volume button and the Power/lock button are housed on the top side of the Samsung YP-Z3 PMP. The Microphone, Earphones jack and the USB connection port are housed at the bottom side of this PMP. All in all, the ergonomics of the Samsung YP-Z3 is incredible.

Samsung YP-Z3 Portable Media Player Battery

The ultra slim Samsung YP-Z3 portable media player comes with a standard Lithium-polymer rechargeable battery affording music playing time up to 30 hours and video playing time up to 3 hours. The Samsung YP-Z3 portable media player can be charged by connecting the player to a PC. The charging time is specified as about 3 hours. The standard Lithium-polymer rechargeable battery comes with a specification that it cannot be charged more than 12 hours as it might damage the player.

Multiple File Format Support and Memory

The Preloaded audio player supports multiple file formats like MP3, MP3HD, WMA, OGG, FLAC, AAC (LC and Plus) and WAV files. The inbuilt video player supports file formats like H.264, MPEG4, Xvid and WMV9 and the video resolution is specified as 720×576 pixels. The Samsung YP-Z3 PMP supports multiple image formats like JPEG, BMP, PNG and GIF files and also supports TXT files. The Samsung YP-Z3 ultra compact portable media player comes in capacities of 4GB and 8GB and features no expandable memory slot.
