Samsung video conference-based 24-inch VC240 LCD monitor

Samsung America has collaborated with Radvision to introduce a new LCD monitor. Known as VC240, the new 24-inch hi-res monitor comes integrated with all the major specs to allow video conferencing. Boasting of the product, the company says that it makes you free of the barriers of desktop market as now you can use it to enjoy all the benefits of the hi-def video communications at current hardware desktop solutions
The cost-effective LCD boasts of brining hi-def video conferencing to the finger tips. The built-in VoIP module claims to provide functions like one to multipoint video conference. As the features, the monitor is also capable of working well with V2oIP (Video and Voice over Internet Protocols) network, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)-enabled Multipoint Control Units (MCUs) and Unified Communications (MS). The LCD has been brought about for huge businesses that need regular in-person meetings with delegates scattered globally.
The VC240 comes built-in with Samsung’s H.264 codec, front-of-screen performance, 5 mp webcam and noise cancellation microphone. The unique voice and video functionality claims to offer an enhanced conferencing experience. As the reviews, the monitor comes integrated with a hi-res images and efficient video compression. In addition, the monitor comes featured with adaptive jitter buffer, lip synchronization, voice activation detection and acoustic echo cancellation. The response time of 5ms lessens blur and enhances the quality of an image.

The Samsung VC240 is interoperable and compatible with the Scorpia rang of Radvision and desktop video solutions. It boasts of offering max to max quality by integrating SVC (Scalable Video Coding) of Radvision and Forward Error Correction techniques. Besides being consistent with DVI-I and VGA component connections, the monitor also boasts of a contrast ratio of 1000:1.
The Samsung VC240 is slated to be rolled out during autumn season with the price tag of around $1,999.
