Sierra Wireless USB 598 Modem now available for Verizon network

sierrawirelessusb598 Seirra Wireless has announced the launch of its advanced modem, which aims at providing the Verizon wireless customer fast downloading and uploading services. Christened as Sierra Wireless USB 598, the USB modem provides high speed web browsing support.

The Sierra Wireless USB 598 has the ability to provide a speed of 3.1 Mbps on the downlink and 1.8 Mbps on the uplink. You can download 1 MB file in eight seconds and upload the same file in less than 13 seconds.

As its reviews, the Sierra Wireless USB 598 modem is compatible with EV-DO Rev. A technology and provides average download speeds of 600 kilobits per second (kbps) to 1.4 megabits per second and average upload speeds of 500-800 kbps.

The microSD memory slot of the Sierra Wireless USB 598 works as backup storage device while enabling users to transfer and share photos between a laptop and a phone.

The Sierra Wireless USB 598 modem features TRU-Install software installation technology which allows easy installation. It also features TRU Diversity and Sierra Wireless Watcher connection manager.
