Sony is in news again. The electronics giant has just introduced a host of new Bravia LED backlight XBR10 Series HDTVs. The HDTVs are dubbed as XBR10 series. Sony introduced the latest HDTVs just a few days after the release of Sony Bravia ZX5.
The XBR10 series will feature an advanced edge-lit LED backlight. The XBR10 series is also featured with a 1080p wireless transmission of high definition signals. The XBR10 series also comes with an Ethernet connection to help the customers directly access Sony Bravia Internet video content. Powered by the Yahoo! Widget Engine, the Bravia Internet Widgets will expand and personalize the TV experience.
Bravia is based on the cutting-edge television technology. The XBR10 series highlights the industry-leading, innovative features.
The new HDTVs can be put on hanging on a wall. The wireless facet of the device touts to clear the clutter of components and messy tangles of unattractive wires.
The XBR10 series also gives support to the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) and allows the customers to make an easy access to digital photos, music and videos stored on a PC or any DLNA server via the XMB interface. The Sony HDTVs also extend support for USB storage devices. They are also featured with Internet powered TV Guide, BRAVIA Sync, 4 HDMI inputs and RS232C.
The Sony Bravia XBR10 series HDTVs are based on Energy Star 3.0 specifications. The Light Sensor technology will fine-tune the backlight as per the ambient light of the room. This feature helps HDTVs to save energy and reduce the overall carbon footprint.
The KDL-52XBR10 and KDL-46XBR10 models are slated to be shipped in the market this October. They will be made available via Sony Style retail stores and the company’s official website. The models can be bought for their respective prices of $5000 (approx. Rs. 2,42,675) and $4500 (approx. Rs. 2,18,407).
