If you are thinking that you are done with all Cybershot cameras unveiled at CES in Las Vegas, then Sony is interrupting you once again. Sony Alpha DSLR was the most expected device as PMA is forthcoming, but whatsoever Sony is likely to unveil their new touchscreen compact camera which is dubbed as Sony DSC-TX5. Official details are not declared but from pictures of this camera we can get a general idea of device.

Authorized features of DSC-TX5 are not available yet, but images of this camera are disclosed by Sony only. We can see some aspects of it in our mind’s eye. We can expect this DSC-TX5, which is a digital touchscreen camera, to be integrated with Intelligent Sweep Panorama feature. It is possible to capture panorama images which are flawless and completely appropriate. It is capable of recording video clips of 1080i High Definition.

Perhaps this DSC-TX5 will be configured with Carl Zeiss lens offering an internal 4x optical zoom but focal range can not be configured from image materials. Range of 25mm will be suitable for this device. Touchscreen of DSC-TX5 should be spontaneous giving a fabulous experience to users. As latest Cybershot cameras are incorporated with Memory stick PRO Duo along with flash memory cards such as MicroSD or SDHC, this DSC-TX5 will surely encompass this aspect.

May be Sony DSC-TX5 will have High Dynamic Range Backlight Correction as a function, which lets user to attain pale images with sturdy back light. All together it creates an excellent image with particular combination. It will probably offer movie recordings of 1080p MPEG-4 along with high ISO shots. Sony DSC-TX5 looks cool and stylish with smart design. Waterproof casing of this device is configured in order to protect it as we have seen some water-soaked images.

Sony DSC-TX5 is the most awaited device as it seems very appealing for users. Unfortunately exact specifications of device are not available; but we are hoping for the product at least with these aspects. Device is available in several elegant colors. As per the officials, it will be released in February at PMA 2010. Details regarding prize of the device is not finalized yet.
