Well, the existence of the rumored Kurara smartphone is finally confirmed and the device also known as Sony Ericsson Vivaz is revolving around the web with its leaked specs that you, obviously, would like to be familiar with. So, let’s get to know them.
If views of the techno-pundits are believed, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz would come built-in with a 3.2-inch touchscreen and will have Symbian S60 to on it. The handset designing is archetypal Sony Ericsson because it is inspired by the Xperia X10 and would be designed by the very same team.
Apparently, the packing of the Symbian in Vivaz is the most noteworthy point here when the Android is all the rage among all and sundry. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is not the only handset, which will run Symbian S60 5th edition, but the Sony Ericsson Satio was also in built with it. However the Symbian S60 5th edition remained very positive there and now what has to be seen here is if it would do the same with the Vivaz or spoil its hopes. Let’s hope for the best and leave the rest.
Hardware wise, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is reported to come integrated with a robust 8.1-mp camera, which is claimed to capture video clips at 720p HD. There is no availability of HDMI-out on the handset; still it can directly upload videos or photos to YouTube or Picasa. In addition, the Vivaz is also said to be featuring a 700MHz processor, probably a Snapdragon.
And as far as its video playback is concerned, the device could play H.264, WMV, MPEG4 and MP3. Plus, the phone will also be built-in with an FM tuner, which means that the PMPs will be replaced.
Nothing to say about its internal storage, however, an expandable microSD slot will be available in the phone. It would definitely come with a USB port, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Operating on GSM/3G bands, the all new upcoming Sony Ericsson Vivaz would come dipped in four variant colors. As to its pricing, the phone is expected to be put for sale between $670, $750.
